We bring queers together at monthly events in San Francisco and the East Bay to:

• HAVE FUN

• MEET NEW PEOPLE

• TAKE CONCRETE STRATEGIC ACTION

Our events combine drag and other queer performance; art by local queer artists, sometimes with on-the-spot artmaking; mutual-aid building with local organizations; a raffle or game; food and drink; intentional friend-making and connection; and easy but strategic political action.

We're queers of different genders, sexualities, races, and ages. Citizens and non-citizens. Queers who speak different languages. Queers with money and queers without. Queers the regime has already come for, and queers it hasn't come for yet.

Low-hanging does not mean low-impact.

When it comes to the elections, it means sending postcards to voters in places where the races are close and our action can make a difference. It means identifying the like-minded folks we know in those places and making sure they're registered and get out and vote. And it means getting our besties in on the action, too.

We take care of each other — now, not just in November — and "we" means all of us. And we turn dread into action — strategic action — because there's a difference between doing something and doing something smart, something that works. You don't need organizing experience. You don't need unlimited time or money. You don't need to be perfect. You just need to show up, bring your whole queer self, and take the next doable step.

We fight collectively. We fight strategically. And we refuse to surrender our joy, sexiness, humor, culture, friendship, or pleasure.
